Tetrosyl is the largest car care products company in Europe, with global presence in 100 countries. Seeking to reduce daily energy consumption from the grid and enhance their environmental footprint, we’ve assisted in decarbonising two of their sites with grid-tied solar installations.

Like many businesses with multiple locations, Tetrosyl needed a reliable and scalable solution that could be deployed swiftly without disrupting their daily operations, while also ensuring safety and optimal performance.

Solution

Our team designed and installed two systems for sites in Morecombe and Leeds; both site designs coming to roughly 40kWp, utilising between 88-96 Trina 445W solar panels connected to a SolarEdge 33.3kW inverter.

Leveraging our streamlined installation process, the entire setup was completed within one week on each site, ensuring minimal downtime and immediate benefits. Key features of the system include:

• Panel Optimization: Advanced panel optimization technology ensures maximum energy harvest by mitigating the effects of shading and panel mismatches, enhancing overall system efficiency.
• Safety Integration: The system is equipped with a rapid shutdown capability for emergencies, ensuring immediate deactivation of the solar array.
• Commercial Gateways: Seamlessly connected to the building’s fire alarm system, allowing automatic shutdown of the solar panels in case of fire or other emergencies.
