MCS is the UK's leading independent certification scheme for renewable energy. Being MCS-certified means your installation meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and consumer protection. This is the most important accreditation for your solar investment.
Why it matters to you:
MCS certification is required to access the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG), which pays you for surplus solar energy. It also guarantees that your system was installed to rigorous technical standards and that you benefit from a consumer code of practice covering design, installation, commissioning, and aftercare.
