Why has Richmond council partnered with MakeMyHouseGreen?

Richmond Council is aiming to become a Net Zero borough by 2043 and wants to support residents considering energy efficiency modifications to their home with the right support. We have a strong track record for reliable installations and partnerships with other councils, and well-known organisations like Nationwide and Santander. We take you through the whole journey; from calculating the cost and impact to installation and certification.

We have a free-to-use platform that can support you to to find out how many solar panels fit on your home, get an estimated installation price, and track the process from initial estimate to completed installation.

We work closely with the council's planning department for those in Conversation Areas. In most cases, we can design solar systems without the need for a full planning application.
